Yoga with Amy Redford, lululemon, Mittwoch, 04. Dezember 2019

Amy is a passionate yogini, teacher and advocate - she first discovered yoga more than 15 years ago and, since then, has experimented with most style of yoga practice. Like many of us - she has a demanding career, travels extensively and has a busy social life – so connecting with yoga practice and meditation are the perfect way to help her to re-balance and find perspective to help manage life’s challenges. Beginning her practice of Anusara yoga was the catalyst to enable Amy to put yoga at the centre of her life, develop her own home practice and start sharing her knowledge by teaching friends and family. Seeing the benefit of what yoga brought to herself and brings to others is was what lead her to begin yoga teacher training journey. The yoga path has brought powerful transformation enabling Amy to develop both personally and spiritually plus it has also helped her in rehabilitation from physical injury.

Amy teaches in various studios around Zurich and she organizes pop-up yoga classes in different spaces (outdoors in summer). Amy is a Capricorn and - being an Earth sign - Amy loves to practice and to teach yoga within nature. You will notice that her class themes take inspiration from and focus on connecting with the elements of nature. Her classes are developed with their roots in nature. Amy loves encouraging her students to connect with their body through yoga practice, linking breath with movement, being playful and having fun – centering in the moment by using a theme for each class. 

Amy is also completing her training to teach pre-natal and post-natal yoga to support women throughout the various stages of pregnancy. She is an active member of the yoga community because she strongly believes in the physical and mental benefits for creating balance our lives.
